iPhone – The Next Generation

There comes a time in every mans life when he looks at himself in the mirror and says, “iPhone, Blackberry, or Android?” I’m going to throw my personal choice on the back burner for the time being, but what I’m seeing in next gen smart phones is quite impressive. Of course I’m talking about the new iPhone 4. I got to hand it to the crew at Apple; this device presents some features you wouldn’t expect out of a modern cell phone. Just to make my noise about it, here are some of its key elements of the new apple gem.

Let’s take a look at the structure and tech for the new device. Not like its predecessors; this phone has a clean flat shell and fingerprint haters beware, two strong yet durable sheets of glass encase this bad boy. The stainless steel ring around the outside functions as the antenna leaving more room for other things like the A4 CPU and a larger battery that is quoted to provide “40% more talk time”. These are wonderful upgrades, but what about the fun stuff? Well, the iPhone 4 has a 5mp camera with built in flash and dishes out Hi-Def video recording. Still not satisfied? The last (and my favourite) point I’ll make is the new Retina display. Apple has given this small phone a display that is the clearest on the market and it boasts both vibrancy and refined edges by dividing the pixels for a cleaner view.

Software features? Glad you asked. iPhone 4 has gone over some much needed updates regarded the OS. Things like multitasking for all apps and intelligent self naming folders are just some of the things this phone can do. The main feature that is sparking interest in this device is its video calling feature that apple is calling “face time”. This enables a person to video call someone in real time with the ability to change (in-call) from the front camera to the back at any time.

All of this and more can be found on apple’s website at Apple.com. Enjoy the mobile lifestyle.

Update: Please keep in mind the issue regarding the signal loss when thinking of purchasing this device.
